• Responsibilities include performing tax calculations, tax reports, accounting postings and reconciliations, attending tax audits by government, external and internal audits, and executing internal controls procedures.
• Major Accountabilities: Work with direct managers to support financial activities, decision making, and general projects.
• Provide support for stakeholders.
• Proactively read, interpret, and apply the company’s legislation and internal documents for operational decision-making and support for management decisions.
• Perform ancillary obligations (REINF), accounting reconciliations, NFCM controls (SOx), accounting adjustments, financial actions, and maintain recurrent contact with the team that processes documents for payments.
• Engage with internal and external audits, internal controls, and different types of stakeholders, including tax audits and inspections.
• Support several routines in the tax operational area.
• Contribute to key projects.
• Minimum Requirements: Complete Graduation in Accounting, Business Administration, or related areas.
• Knowledge in SAP ECC is mandatory.
• Experience with SAP/Hana is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of withheld taxes.
• Knowledge of indirect taxes (ICMS/IPI) or direct taxes (Income Tax and CSLL) is a plus.
• Experience reading and interpreting legislation.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Work Experience: Operations Execution.
• Languages: Advanced English.
• Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
